The ASA is a non-profit organisation formed in 2004 and is dedicated to bringing new and unique opportunities to young musicians in Australia and to enriching the music community and cultural life in both Australia and abroad. Our flagship program, the international
ASA Summer School, provides unparallelled opportunities for young string players and pianists from around Australia and the world.
For 15 days, students playing the violin, viola, cello, double bass and piano are inspired under the direction of world class tutors. The daily schedule includes one-to-one lessons, master classes and workshops, lectures and seminars, concerts, solo performance opportunities, and world class chamber music coaching.
The Academy has also expanded its scope of events during the year and has an exciting vision of the future with an aim to establish a legacy that will develop and inspire future generations of Australia' musicians.
N.B. The ASA Summer School will not be run in 2013.
