The ASA began with one event - the Summer School. As it grows and establishes itself as an important part of Australia's music education and arts scene, the organisation is expanding the programs it offers.
Existing programs:
ASA Summer School - 2-week program open to string players and pianists from Australia and around the world.
ASA Junior Summer School - 2-week program which runs concurrently with the
Summer School. For young string players up to 8th grade level.
ASA Regional Outreach Program - special program put in place designed to benefit regional students, artists, performers, composers, teachers, parents, audiences and communities.
ASA Young Artist Career Development Program - a valuable program to assist talented and dedicated students and emerging artists with their careers. Concerts, funding assistance, special projects and opportunities.
ASA Secondary School Chamber Music Competition -
great opportunity for High school students in NSW, with cash prizes and performance opportunities.
ASA Collaborative Piano Program - 2-week program which runs concurrently with and as part of the
Summer School. For accomplished young pianists and training accompanists.
